Grind spots are not ranked in a vacuum — they are ranked against your AP and DP. The same spot that prints silver for a 300 AP player can be a silver sink for a 240 AP player who dies and loses loot. This guide maps the 2026 brackets and gives you the rule that beats every tier list.

The AP-matching principle

Silver per hour at a spot = (monster value + drop value) x clear speed x survival. AP drives clear speed and survival; under-geared, your clear speed collapses and your death tax rises. The 'best' spot is the highest-value one you can clear efficiently.

Two stats matter for spot selection: AP determines how fast you kill (clear speed), DP determines whether you survive (death tax). A spot can feel fine on paper and punish you because your DP is short of its floor. Check both, not just AP.

These are 2026 community figures — requirements rotate with patches, so confirm the current floor before you commit an hour. The pattern to internalize: each bracket roughly doubles silver per hour, and the jump between brackets you cannot clear is where silver goes to die.

The common trap

A returning player reads 'Spot X is the best' and goes there 30 AP under the requirement, dies repeatedly, and concludes the game is rigged. It is not — they are at the wrong spot for their gear. Move down a bracket and your silver per hour often goes UP.

The best grind spot is the one your AP can clear without thinking. Prestige spots are for the gear that earns them, not a shortcut past it.

Pre-grind checklist

  • Confirm your AP (with buffs) meets the spot's comfortable range — not its minimum.
  • Confirm your DP can survive the spot's worst pulls; death tax is a silent silver drain.
  • Check pack/weight so you are not dumping loot constantly.
  • Verify the spot's drops actually sell on your server.
  • Have a failstack/repair plan so deaths don't compound.

Run with loot scrolls and Agris where the math supports it — much of the income at every bracket comes from those two levers, not from the spot itself.

Bracket figures are compiled from 2026 community testing (BDFoundry spot pages, the Garmoth.com data aggregator and server-discord spot threads). Always confirm current requirements before a long session — patch rotations move floors more often than guides do.
